بررسی نگرش دانشجویان دکتری آموزش زبان انگلیسی و اساتیدشان نسبت به رویکرد های مختلف پژوهشی: مطالعه ای کیفی

چکیده

پژوهش حاضر به بررسی نگرش دانشجویان مقطع دکتری ایرانی و اساتید آنها که درس روش تحقیق را در رشته آموزش زبان انگلیسی تدریس می کنند، نسبت به انواع روش های تحقیق (کمی- کیفی-مختلط) می پردازد. علاوه بر این محققان، ترجیح شرکت کنندگان نسبت به استفاده از رویکردهای پژوهشی (کمی- کیفی- مخلتط) را برای انجام پایان نامه هایشان بررسی نمودند. بدین منظور، چهارده دانشجو دکتری آمووزش زبان انگلیسی و ده نفر از اعضای هیات علمی در این رشته از دانشگاه های مختلف سراسر کشور براساس نمونه گیری در دسترس و هدفمند انتخاب شدند. آنها در یک مصاحبه نیمه ساختاریافته که توسط محققان طراحی شده بود، شرکت کردند. نتایج روش تحلیل محتوای کیفی نظریه بنیاد استرواس و کوربین (1996) که شامل سه سطح کدگذاری (یعنی کدگذاری باز، کدگذاری محوری و کدگذاری انتخابی) است، نشان داد که هر دو گروه شرکت کننده، نگرش مثبتی نسبت به روش تحقیق مختلط (ترکیبی) و کیفی داشتند و ایشان برای نگارش پایان نامه خود این دو روش تحقیق را  برگزیدند. علاوه بر این شرکت کنندگان خاطرنشان کردند که بسته به هدف مطالعه و ماهیت موضوع مورد بررسی، تحقیقات کیفی و مختلط می تواند حداقل به اندازه تحقیقات کمی موثر باشد. یافته ها همچنین نشان داد که روش تحقیق مختلط بیشتر از دو رویکرد دیگر توسط هر دو گروه شرکت کننده ترجیح داده شده است. این یافته ها ممکن است به طور اعم برای محققان تازه کار زبان خارجی و به صورت اخص برای محققان زبان انگلیسی مفید باشد زیرا آنها برای تسلط و رویارویی با این روش تحقیق (مختلط) نیاز به گذراندن یک درس مجزا در مقطع دکتری تحت همین عنوان دارند
