نگرش دانشجویان زبان انگلیسی نسبت به اثرات منفی کلاس های بزرگ در دانشگاه قندهار

چکیده

اثرات اندازه کلاس بر آموزش و یادگیری در کلاس های درس زبان انگلیسی برای مدت طولانی از طریق یک بحث استدلالی بین محققان بوده است. برخی از محققان، محققان و معلمان ادعا می کنند که کلاس های بزرگ منجر به اثرات منفی می شود در حالی که برخی دیگر کلاس های بزرگ را فرصت می دانند. از این رو، هدف اصلی این مقاله بررسی نگرش دانشجویان در مورد تأثیرات منفی کلاس های بزرگ بر یادگیری زبان انگلیسی در دانشگاه قندهار در افغانستان است. این پژوهش یک مطالعه کمی است که از طرح پیمایشی استفاده شده است. پرسشنامه پژوهش از دانکوه و آنتوی (2015) اقتباس شده است. محققان 150 پرسشنامه را بین دانش آموزان سال اول، دوم، راهنمایی و ارشد گروه زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی توزیع کردند و 130 پرسشنامه را که به درستی پر شده بودند جمع آوری کردند. این مطالعه نشان داد که در حوزه آموزشی، کارهای عملی، تمرین ها و فعالیت های ارتباطی به طور جدی گم شده بود و معلمان بیشتر وقت کلاس را به مدیریت کلاس و حضور در کلاس اختصاص می دادند. در حوزه روان‌شناختی، دانش‌آموزان منفعل بودند و احساس غفلت می‌کردند. در حوزه اجتماعی، شکاف عاطفی بین معلمان و دانش آموزان وجود داشت. در نهایت، یافته های تحقیق با مطالعات انجام شده در زمینه EFL در سایر کشورها مطابقت دارد. علاوه بر این، این مطالعه برخی مفاهیم و توصیه‌ها را برای مقابله با مشکلات کلاس‌های بزرگ برای کاربردهای آتی در آموزش دانشجویان زبان انگلیسی ارائه می‌کند.
