تأثیر آموزش زبان مبتنی بر واژگان بر مهارت نوشتاری در بین دانشجویان EFL در ایران

چکیده

این مطالعه با هدف بررسی تأثیر آموزش زبان مبتنی بر واژگان بر مهارت نوشتاری در بین دانشجویان EFL در ایران انجام شد. دو کلاس دانشگاه شامل شصت دانشجوی دختر و پسر (60 نفر) انتخاب و با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری آسان در دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل قرار گرفتند. در ابتدای مطالعه و برای تعیین همگنی گروه ها، گروه ها در آزمون کلیدی انگلیسی شرکت کردند. قبل از مداخله آزمایشی، یک پیش آزمون در قالب یک تکلیف مقاله نویسی برای هر دو گروه داده شد. نتایج پیش‌آزمون نشان داد که گروه آزمایش و کنترل از نظر مهارت نوشتاری عمومی، زیربخش منابع واژگانی و زیربخش گستره دستوری و دقت مشابه بودند. در حالی که به شرکت‌کنندگان در گروه آزمایشی بر اساس تمرین‌ها و فعالیت‌هایی که بر رویکرد واژگانی برای ارائه مقاله‌نویسی تأکید می‌کنند، آموزش داده شد، همتایان آن‌ها در گروه کنترل بر اساس تکنیک‌های مرسوم برای انجام همان کار نوشتاری آموزش داده شدند. در پایان آزمایش، هر دو گروه پس‌آزمون را گرفتند که در قالب کلی شبیه پیش‌آزمون بود. محققان از تحلیل کوواریانس یک طرفه برای مقایسه میانگین نمرات دو گروه در پس آزمون با توجه به مهارت عمومی نوشتاری به همراه منابع واژگانی و محدوده دستوری و زیربخش های دقت نوشتار استفاده کردند. نتایج نشان داد که آموزش زبان مبتنی بر واژگان تأثیر آماری معناداری بر مهارت نوشتاری عمومی و زیربخش منابع واژگانی نگارش پس آزمون دارد. با این حال، هیچ اثر آماری معنی داری در مورد دامنه دستوری و دقت نوشتار مشاهده نشد. این یافته ها پیامدهایی را برای معلمان زبان انگلیسی، توسعه دهندگان مواد و طراحان برنامه درسی نشان می دهد.
