بررسی چالش های تدریس زبان تخصصی به دانشجویان پزشکی: نیازها، کمبودها، ترجیهات دانشجویان و کارایی دروس زبان تخصصی

چکیده

هدف این مطالعه بررسی چالش های موجود در تدریس زبان تخصصی به دانشجویان پزشکی بود. داده ها از طریق پرسشنامه و مصاحبه با 140 دانشجوی پزشکی جمع آوری شد. یافته ها نشان داد دروس زبان تخصصی حاضر نیازهای دانشجویان پزشکی را به خوبی براورده نمیکند و دانشجویان ترجیح میدادند که هر چهار مهارت زبانی در کلاس مورد توجه قرار گیرد. به علاوه، دانشجویان از منابع و روش تدریس موجود راضی نبودند و علاقه بیشتری به رویکردهای بصری و چندرسانه ای داشتند. درمورد اساتید زبان تخصصی، نتایج نشان داد اگرچه دانشجویان بطورکلی از آنها راضی بودند، برخی از نکات ضروری که انتظار میرود اساتید زبان تخصصی در نظربگیرند مانند درنظر گرفتن نیاز دانشجویان، معرفی سبک کلامی مورد استفاده در جامعه ی تخصصی، تمرین ژانرهای زبانی پزشکی و ارائه ی منابع آموزشی و کمک آموزشی مناسب مورد توجه واقع نمیشد. دانشجویان هم چنین اذعان داشتند محدودیت زمانی، تعداد کم واحدهای درس زبان تخصصی، نحوه ی توزیع واحدها و کلاس های ناهمگون موارد دیگری بودند که مانع رسیدن به اهداف دروس زبان تخصصی میشد. درنتیجه با درنظر گرفتن چالش های موجود در کلاس های زبان تخصصی، توجه بیشتری باید به طرح درس داشت، استفاده مؤثر از تکنولوژی پیشنهاد میشود و انتظار میرود اساتید از ساعات دروس تخصصی استفاده بهینه داشته باشند.
